Monster Hunter Outlanders on PC

Can you play Monster Hunter Outlanders on PC?

Not officially. Monster Hunter Outlanders is a mobile game: the official launch FAQ says the North America, Japan and Europe servers support “both iOS and Android platforms” and lists phone requirements only. There is no PC download on the official website and no Steam store page.

Using an Android emulator on PC

Several Android emulators advertise Monster Hunter Outlanders support, and players report running it that way. The game's publisher has not said whether emulators are allowed, so we cannot tell you they are safe for your account. Many mobile games detect emulators and either block them or match emulator players separately. If you try one, log in with an account you are willing to lose, keep the emulator up to date, and stop if the game warns you.

The game also needs a capable device. The official recommended Android spec is Android 12+, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Dimensity 9200 or better, 8 GB RAM; an emulator adds overhead, so expect to need a recent mid-range or better PC.

Playing on a tablet instead of a PC

A large iPad or Android tablet that meets the official specs is the only officially supported way to play on a bigger screen. Recommended iOS spec: iOS 17+, iPhone 13 Pro or newer, 6 GB RAM. Minimum: iOS 15+, iPhone 8 Plus or newer, 3 GB RAM.

Controller support

Yes: the official Monster Hunter Outlanders website lists “Controller Support: Yes” in its game facts (read 30 October 2026). It does not say which controllers or connection types work, so test yours before a long hunt. If you stay on touch, Adventure Mode uses three core buttons; the beginner guide explains the two control modes.

Will there be a Monster Hunter Outlanders PC version?

Nothing has been announced. The only platform news beyond launch is the mainland China release planned from 2027, which is also a mobile release as far as the official note says. See the servers and regions page.
